It will be nice to have a tag version there
If you don't want a new version, you can use something like 3.0.0+pie, but I see some changes in sources, so need to create a branch from the previous tag (ex, see https://packagist.org/packages/pecl/bitset)
Also, can you please switch to the standard tag schema (1.2.3 or v1.2.3)
The msgpack- prefix may raise issue in some build system (at least for RPM the dash character is interpreted as a pre-version)
