I'm facing the same issue and have received no response from GitHub in months. I canceled in October 2023 and was continued to be charged into 2025. I did not have access to GitHub for the majority of this time and am still trying to request a refund or get some form of response. What can I do to escalate this issue?

I created a ticket like a year or more about this issue. I explained my whole situation that I unsubscribed from GitHub copilot but was continuously charged for a year… GitHub did not provide a refund.. instead saying that there was a chargeback processing so they could not do anything until it’s resolved. I wait for 6 more months and inquired again and they closed the ticket without any explanation.

Why not just use claude sonnet directly? What's the benefit of using copilot? I don't know why I paid for this subscription.
