Searched a few keywords that have results on web but keeps showing zero results in the app

Hi @HenSquared when I search my issues, the filter is retained even if you leave the window and come back again

But for discussion it does not retain.

Do you not agree those should have matching experiences.

I prob prefer the filter is kept but regardless of if it's kept or reset I would not expect them to be different from one another

I searched for several keywords that clearly return results on the web, but the Android app keeps showing “0 results”.

This seems like a search mismatch or sync issue between the app and the web version. Since the same keywords work on web, the app may be using stale data, a different search scope, or failing to refresh results properly.

What I’ve tried
signing out and back in
reinstalling the app
updating to the latest version
Expected behavior
Search results in the app should match the web version for the same keywords.

Actual behavior
The app returns 0 results even when the web version shows matching repositories/issues/users.

Suggestion
Please check whether:

app search indexing is out of sync
cached results are being reused
the app is querying a narrower search scope than the web
there is a backend/API inconsistency on mobile
If needed, I can provide example keywords and screenshots to help reproduce the issue.
