Files disappear when trying to navigate code

I went into a private repo in my organization and then tried to navigate the code.

It showed the first level but when clicking on a folder it navigates to the folder but items in that folder animate up and away.

Displaying a no files in this directory message.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I understand you are experiencing a problem where folder contents disappear with an upward animation after navigating into a subdirectory within a private repository.

To help us investigate this further, could you please provide a bit more detail? Specifically:

Browser and Version: Which browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and version are you using?
Device: Are you using a desktop, tablet, or mobile device?
Steps to Reproduce: Does this happen consistently with all folders, or only specific ones?
Console Logs: If you open your browser’s Developer Tools (F12) and check the Console tab, do you see any error messages when the animation occurs?
Additionally, if possible, please share a screen recording or screenshot of the behavior, as this can be very helpful for debugging UI-related issues.

GitHub Mobile Version 1.258.0 on iOS 26.5
It happens consistently (95% of the time) but seems to affect private repositories more than public repositories.
