Discussion Details

We need a supported way to pass additional arguments to the DinD container, for example:

--registry-mirror=https://xxx.azurecr.io

Alternatively, we need a proper mechanism for mounting and using a custom Docker daemon configuration file, for example:

--config-file=/etc/docker/daemon.json

At the moment, the only workaround is to disable containerMode in the Helm chart and manually replicate a large portion of the configuration. This approach is fragile, makes future Helm chart upgrades difficult, and introduces additional maintenance overhead because changes must be manually reapplied after each update.
