Hi there! Just a heads-up: this is a public GitHub community discussion forum, so other community members here won't be able to access npm's internal user database to manually release or recover your account details. When an npm account is deleted, the username and email are typically locked automatically by their system for security reasons. This is done to prevent "typosquatting" or malicious actors from claiming abandoned usernames and uploading compromised packages under a trusted name. To get this resolved, you will need to reach out to the official npm support staff directly so they can securely verify your identity and see if the username can be cleared for you. You can open an official support ticket here: (Quick tip: Since this is a completely public forum visible to anyone on the internet, you might want to edit your original post to remove your personal email address so it doesn't get scraped by spam bots!) Hope this helps you get your account sorted out! |

Hi npm Support,
I previously deleted my npm account, but now I want to recover or reuse the same username and email address.
Currently, I am unable to create a new account using them.
Username: dragbizz
Email: kshatriyakabwat@gmail.com
Could you please help me recover the account or release the username/email for reuse?
Thank you.
